Getting fit is looking good.

Yeah right! To get fit, at least for me is really a hard stuff to achieve unless I choose to. And exercise doesn’t guarantee that I won’t get sick. I am sick, I still have this cough I got few days back and been taking syrup, and I hate it. I wish it’ll be gone NOW - haha! Kidding aside, how do we stay healthy inside and out? It’s really a big deal but, as I said, I choose to make it simple which I consider my secrets to staying fit and looking good hahaha!

I keep myself moving. I work around our flat, do mix of things that keep me active.  I go to the gym at least once a week. But I listen to my body. I read that some athletes are more susceptible to getting sick because they’re pushing their bodies to the limit. So, I don’t overdo things (but I think I did last week that’s why I got sick haha). I find things I enjoy and make them a part of my everyday life. I may not have six packs but I still feel good. Though, I still aim to have at least 4 of those hahaha, in time, watch out lols.

I don’t diet. I just eat the right food. Believe me, we can maintain our shape or lose weight without dieting. Just change our eating habits, opt for healthy foods and of course we keep moving haha to make some burning of calories. I eat vegetables, it’s healthy. I don’t smoke. And I drink lots of water. I think it helps a lot in digestion.

I take enough sleep and naps. There’s a good reason to sleep well and take naps. I read about the two phases of sleep: during the first hours of sleep, we have “deep sleep” which takes care of our physical fatigue and at the later part of our sleep, we have “dream sleep” which takes care of our mental fatigue. So, if we cut short our sleep, though our body can handle the strain, our mind loses sharpness and we still want to rest. And here’s one good thing about taking naps, research says that nappers are 30% less likely to have heart problems. Cool! If possible, take short naps. I do that even while at work ssshhhh hahaha.



I laugh more often. Don’t take life too seriously. I always try to avoid small irritations of my day. Instead of being upset by my mistakes, I would just laugh at it. I find reasons to smile. It’s easy. I always try to put smile in everything I do and I find it healthy.


I go for the right attitude
. With positive attitude, I can always choose to have a worry-free life.  I always choose to be happy.  Ideally, it’s nice to have people around you with the same kind of attitude, but sometimes reality sucks, I would lose them if I put restrictions on how they should behave.  Though, I’ll keep inspiring and motivating. If it is strong enough, it becomes contagious, and it’s healthy, not only for me but also for the people around me.

And this is how I do it. This is why I stay fit and look good ;) This can be a simple action I do today but I’m sure it can have a big difference a year from now or years from now. .

So I use each day as an opportunity to be healthier inside and out. And I would say that a perfect shape with a healthy mind is ours to create right now!

  3. super agreee.. welll massabi ko lng nakkita ko ang pagbbago sa katawan mo..ikaw na ang hunk... ilang packs na ang abs mo bon..lol.. sana ako rin.. pero kaya ko rin yan ginawa mo bon...hehheh.. thanks sa tips mo dito kung paano mging fit bon..nkkatulong ito..

  9. Wow, BON! I love the tips you wrote above. I'd like to be as healthy as I can, but, I don't really have enough sleep. And, the problem is, when I eat a lot, I tend to get sleepy afterwards, hehehe! Have a blessed day, dude! =)

    Naku anong diet diet!!! 6 years ko na pinlano yan pero tinamad ako! ahaha but i know i can do it, busy lang ako. ahahahah

    Kidding aside, above mentioned tips were proven effective. (I just really dont know why i cant look younger than u do)

  12. Bakit ganun? Hindi din naman ako nagdi-diet, sandwich na nga lang ang lunch ko. 6-8 hours pa din ang tulog ko, unless may gimik at kailangan kong pumasok sa opisina kinabukasana. I laugh a lot. Pero bakit ganun? Malaki pa din ang tyan ko, yung lintek na abs ay hindi pa din nagpapakita ):

    I think this is going to be very informative to those who also wants to know how others keep themselves fit. I've always wanted to create the same post as you did, to give tips on being healthy but I feel like I'm not the right authority to comment about it. Pero ikaw nagawa mo ng swabeng swabeh.   22. Before i used to stay in the gym,mixing routines and doing so after the other, baketball, table tennis and swimming were amongst but now,i wanna go home after duty and cook and eat,and watch movies,and the result ..... bloated tummy, hahahah...Hope to be there soon!

May bago akong tsinelas! Ever heard about Dupé? No’ng nagbakasyon ako sa Pilipinas, nagkaroon ako ng chance na gamitin ang tsinelas na ‘to =) a friend from Dupe-Philippines gave me a pair of this cool flipflops. And I must say, I like and I enjoy using it. Dupe-Philippines has re-launched the slippers last December 2010; it’s been 4 months now and I think the sales are doing great now. We all know that these days, slippers have been part of our regular fashions, nakakapunta na nga tayo sa mall nang nakatsinelas nalang di ba, pagandahan at papormahan ang labanan. Pero syempre, iba padin pag komportable ka, kahit magkano o gaano pa ‘yan kaganda mahalaga pa rin sa bandang huli kung gaano kakumportable sa’yo. Parang sa tao lang, masarap kasama pag alam mong palagay ang loob mo, pag alam mong sulit ang oras mo pagkasama s’ya. =)

Kamusta na kaya ang Dueg?

Dueg, Tarlac – napakalayo, mabundok, magubat, ngunit mala-paraisong lugar na minsan ay naging bahagi at nagbigay ng makabuluhan at masayang karanasan sa buhay ko.  Masarap alalahanin ang bawat minuto na inilagi ko sa lugar na ‘yon, matagal na panahon man ang lumipas, mananatili 'yon bilang isang “astig” na alaala.

Setup Helipad for Tomica Doctor Heli

I find a relatively small helicopter from Tomica collection at Robinsons' Toys R-Us for around Php 250. Tomica Doctor Heli, the scale is at 1:167. Though the scale size reads nearly N-scale, it's bigger than the usual n-scale model size. Nevertheless, it still looks nice with my current layout.
